Yes. At PTMODE one therapist handles your entire session, and it is the same therapist each visit. You are not passed between aides or rotated through a team, and your session is not shared with other patients. That continuity is the reason the clinic is structured the way it is.

PTMODE treats orthopedic problems such as knee pain, shoulder pain, rotator cuff injuries, arthritis and joint pain; spine conditions including back pain, neck pain, sciatica and disc injuries; balance and vestibular problems including dizziness, vertigo and post-concussion symptoms; sports injuries and return-to-sport rehabilitation; and pre- and post-surgical recovery, including knee and shoulder replacement.

The McKenzie Method, also called Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy or MDT, is an assessment and treatment system for spinal and extremity pain. It uses repeated movements and positions to find the direction that eases your symptoms, then builds a plan around that direction so you can manage the problem yourself between visits. PTMODE has a Cert MDT therapist on staff, which is a formal McKenzie Institute credential.

Yes. PTMODE provides vestibular and balance therapy in Orland Park for vertigo, dizziness, unsteadiness, fall prevention, and lingering symptoms after a concussion. Treatment starts with an evaluation to identify what is driving the symptoms, because dizziness from an inner ear problem is treated differently from dizziness caused by a balance or neck issue.

No. PTMODE does not provide massage therapy, dry needling, cupping, acupuncture, chiropractic care, aquatic therapy, or pelvic floor therapy. The clinic focuses on orthopedic physical therapy, spine care using the McKenzie Method, balance and vestibular therapy, sports rehabilitation, pre- and post-surgical rehab, personal training, and group classes.

There are four steps: register through the PTMODE patient portal, schedule your initial evaluation, complete your intake forms online before your visit, then arrive and begin treatment. Doing the forms ahead of time means your first appointment is spent on your evaluation rather than paperwork. You can also call (312) 502-8122 and we will set it up for you.
